This section presents an overall philosophy about the possibilities for you and I to design your own courses in work-life management & leadership. As the courses and workshop are designed for your organisation, do not hesitate to be in contact and discuss your needs.
JCL Humanistic Consulting major areas for workshops and courses are:
Reaching a harmonious life puzzle to be a better leader
This area is made for managers, employees and future leaders who want to lead themselves and their life to enable them to better lead others. Indeed, leading others requires being able to lead oneself. How can leadership thinking be relevant to lead one’s life? What are the relations between leading oneself and others? How to understand his/her leadership and its roles for leading one’s life? Many of answers are individual and unique for each of us. This course tackles these questions by using leadership theories combined with work-life management.
Leading yourself in a boundaryless society
This area is relevant to employees who want to reach a higher degree of work-life balance and crave to learn on how to handle boundaries between work and life. Indeed, making all pieces of one’s life among those work life, private life, family life and social life to fit in a harmonious puzzle is more complex than what you think. Individuals may have three ways to build their life puzzle: 1- pieces may be integrated and may overlap, 2-pieces may be separated and divided, or 3- pieces may get integrated and, at the same time, separated. But how is that working? This course helps explore this question focusing on boundary making between work and life outside work.
The design of every course and every workshop starts with an “initial leadership and work-life review” (ILWLR) that we perform together so that we can focus on what is exactly needed for you and your participants. Book you initial leadership and work-life review, now!
Every course and workshop at JCL Humanistic Consulting is designed on a mix between ”group discussions” and ”individual coaching”. The optimal balance between both is make to give you and your participants the best learning. Workshops may be seen as shorter moments and practically oriented to increase awareness. Online courses may be considered as longer moments enabling deep individual learning by including regular individual coaching. Courses may be considered as of medium length and more focused on group discussion with just a relevant touch of individual coaching.
Courses and workshops at JCL Humanistic Consulting are based on experiential learning where participants are co-active and co-producer in the workshop so that participants can
• share different views about work-life balance and puzzle so that your team and your organization can develop a better individual as well as organizational understanding of work-life issues.
• engage in relevant and vibrant group discussions and interactions to stimulate their thinking, feelings, emotions, views and knowledge about their life-puzzle.
• reflect about their current & future work-life balance.
• discuss about the roles of the organizational policies in their balance and life puzzle.
• discover the areas participants and organisations need to develop for reaching a dreamed work-life puzzle favourable to individuals and organization.
